Mariupol is an industrial city with complex logistics which has also been located in the area near the frontline in the past 6 years. But how is it to grow up in Mariupol? As a part of the festival’s education programme, we want to give the youth of Mariupol an opportunity to express and reflect on their own experience of living in Mariupol.

This creative workshop seeks to motivate young people to make public statements and create reflective content, to teach them to generate ideas and to work in a team in a short period of time. The participants will complete several stages of preparations: from choosing the topic, generating ideas to filming short videos.

The topics of the videos will be chosen from the range of problems which teenagers in Mariupol are concerned about. The training will focus not only on the result, but also directly on the process of creation and expression in an ecologically horizontal environment.
