Unconquered Kherson is a film that delves into the efforts of Kherson journalists. Since the full-scale invasion began, the team at Vhoru Media Platform has been documenting the unfolding events in the city. Together with the people of Kherson, they experienced the russian capture, local rallies, occupation, and the eventual liberation of their hometown. The unique footage reveals the reality of the past year and a half for Kherson and its residents.

The journalists from Vhoru Media Platform continue their work in Kherson, recording the aftermath of shelling and flooding caused by a terrorist attack on the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. Their stories illuminate the unconquered city and its indomitable people to the world. Their mission is clear: to spotlight Kherson on a broader scale and meticulously document the russians’ crimes.

Unconquered Kherson is a declaration of love for their hometown. Despite the daily dangers, Kherson’s residents persevere, maintaining optimism, believing in victory, and doing everything within their power to keep their city alive. Whether it’s the residents upholding the spirit of the city or the unsung heroes like volunteers, utility workers, bus drivers, and shop assistants, each day they affirm that Kherson is a city of indomitable people.
