The Travelling Festival in Uzhhorod and Zaporizhia: Digest of Events
A month ago, we announced film screenings and discussions in Lviv, which will start already on 10 November.
In this digest, we will tell you more about the Travelling Festivals in two more Ukrainian cities which will host open events thanks to our unbreakable coordinators: Uzhhorod and Zaporizhia.
In Uzhhorod, we are going to travel to:
An open call (deadline: 1 December) of a photography competition, whose jury will include the prominent documentary filmmaker Valentyn Kuzan — see details at this link.
19 November: a screening and discussion of Second Wind (dir. Maksym Lukashov).
21 November: on the Day of Dignity and Freedom — the festival opening with a screening and discussion of King Lear: How We Looked for Love During the War (dir. Dmytro Hreshko).
24 November: an open tour for the city’s residents with NGO FORZA, A City Accessible for People.
28 November: a screening and discussion of Under the Wing of a Night (dir. Lesia Diak).
29 November: a screening of Our Robo Family (dir. Anastasiia Tykha) and discussion with the members of the Radobot Robotics Club.
1 December: a screening of In Ukraine (dir. Tomasz Wolski and Piotr Pawlus), OFFLINE MEETING with the director, informational event on documentation of war crimes.
1 December: a screening and discussion of 89 Days (dir. Pavlo Dorohoi).
8 December: a screening and discussion of Oasis (dir. Justine Martin), a seminar for educators on inclusion and the particularities of working with children with special needs.

11 December: the opening of the photography exhibition My City of the Future.
In Zaporizhia, we are going to travel to:
8 December: the festival opening with a screening of King Lear: How We Looked for Love During the War (dir. Dmytro Hreshko), OFFLINE MEETING with the director.
9 December: a screening and discussion of Three Women (dir. Maksym Melnyk).
10 December: a screening and discussion of Forest, Forest (dir. Maria Stoianova).
11 December: a screening and discussion of waking up in silence (dir. Mila Zhluktenko, Daniel Asadi Faezi).
12 December: a screening and discussion of Our Robo Family (dir. Anastasiia Tykha).
The festival is gaining momentum, so soon our digests will feature many new invitations to travel in December—let’s keep in touch!
