We are delighted that the dream-like November is becoming reality. During the last weeks of its exciting travel all over Ukraine, the 21st Travelling Docudays UA will visit the Vinnytsia region, specifically, Khmilnyk, Zhmerynka, and the very heart of the region – the city of Vinnytsia. 

 

Our coordinators have planned several screenings and discussions for every day, so save the digest of the festival’s public events!

 

November 21, 2 PM

Vinnytsia. Opening of the Travelling Docudays UA in Vinnytsia region. Press conference, screening of the documentary Boots on the Ground, Hands in the Soil, and meeting with its director Karolina Uskakovych.The event will be moderated by Oksana Yatsiuk, chairwoman of the Podillya Center for Social Technologies.  

 

November 21, 3.30 PM

Start of the festival in Khmilnyk. Screening and expert discussion of the film Boots on the Ground, Hands in the Soil (dir. Karolina Uskakovych).

 

November 22, 3.30 PM

Khmilnyk. Screening and discussion of The Kyiv Files by Walter Stokman.


November 22, 6 PM

Start of the festival in Zhmerynka. Screening and discussion of Caught in the Net (dirs. Barbora Chalupová, Vit Klusák).


November 23, 2 PM

Zhmerynka. Screening of the film Boots on the Ground, Hands in the Soil, followed by a discussion and video call with its director, Karolina Uskakovych. 

 

November 23, 3 PM

Zhmerynka. Screening of The Kyiv Files by Walter Stokman, discussion and online meeting with Myroslava Vasylchenko, daughter of the film’s protagonist Vira Lisova.  

 

November 24, 2 PM

Zhmerynka. Screening and discussion of Girl Away From Home (dirs. Simon Lereng Wilmont, Alisa Kovalenko).

 

November 24, 2.45 PM

Zhmerynka. Screening and discussion of Nelson the Pig (dir. Anneke de Lind van Wijngaarden).

Vinnytsia. Screening of the film Girl Away From Home (dirs. Simon Lereng Wilmont, Alisa Kovalenko) and its subsequent discussion with Oksana Yatsiuk.

Khmilnyk. Screening and expert discussion of the film Girl Away From Home (dirs. Simon Lereng Wilmont, Alisa Kovalenko). 

 

November 26, 4.30 PM

Khmilnyk. Screening and expert discussion of the film Nelson the Pig (dir. Anneke de Lind van Wijngaarden). 


November 27, 3.30 PM

Khmilnyk. Screening and expert discussion of the film Kiosk by Daniel Stopa. 

 

November 27, 6 PM

Vinnytsia. Screening of The Kyiv Files by Walter Stokman, followed by a discussion with Oksana Yatsiuk, civic activist and information security coach.  

 

November 28, 1 PM

Vinnytsia. Screening of Caught in the Net (dirs. Barbora Chalupová, Vit Klusák) and its subsequent discussion with Oksana Yatsiuk.  

 

November 28, 3 PM

Khmilnyk. Screening and expert discussion of Caught in the Net (dirs. Barbora Chalupová, Vit Klusák). 

 

November 30, 6 PM

Vinnytsia. Closing of the Travelling Festival in Vinnytsia with the screening of Caught in the Net (dirs. Barbora Chalupová, Vit Klusák) and its discussion with Oksana Datsko, mediation expert and coordinator of the School Reconciliation Service at Zhmerynka Gymnasium.
