22nd Travelling Docudays UA in Rivne Region: Event Digest

Every film in this year’s program is truly a rare resource, and we can’t wait to show them to you. Together with our regional partners, who are helping organize the festival for the first time, we’re launching the 22nd Travelling Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Rivne on 10 October!
We’re sharing an announcement of the public events and inviting you to the Facebook page of the Travelling Festival in the region to register for the screenings with discussions and to listen to the recording of the press conference where we revealed all the details.
10 October, 2:00 p.m.
We are opening the festival in Rivne with the screening of the documentary My Sweet Child by young Dutch director Maarten de Schutter, followed by an expert discussion on the importance of working with victims of war crimes committed by the Russian armed forces to restore violated rights.

Olena Khomych, Head of NGO Integration Centre;
Olesia Myronets-Matushchenko, Head of IDP Council at the Rivne Regional Military Administration;
a representative of the Coordination Centre for the Support of Victims and Witnesses at the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

13 October, 4:00 p.m.
The screening of The Last Song from Kabul by Kevin Macdonald and Ruhi Hamid, followed by an expert discussion on gender-based violence and support for survivors, featuring Yurii Lazarevych, Chair of the Board of the NGO 100 Percent Life Network Rivne.
Location: Diia.Business Support Centre for Entrepreneurs | Rivne.
17 October, 3:00 p.m.
The screening of A Land of Paper by French director Marion Boé, followed by an expert discussion on how bureaucracy in local self-government and state authorities affects the effectiveness of decisions and the rights of citizens, featuring Andrii Tokarskyi, Head of the OPORA Civil Network in Rivne.
Location: INFOHUB Information and Education Space.
