Seminar and presentation: Stop Cyberbullying! How to protect children and teenagers online
According to a survey conducted by UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in 2018, one in five teenagers among the 10 to 17-year-old Ukrainians admit that they have been a victim of online bullying. This information is on the website of Docudays UA’s Nationwide Ukrainian Campaign Against Cyberbullying.
How to determine the signs of online bullying of children? How should teachers, parents, and teenagers who find themselves in a situation of cyberbullying act? How to take preventive action?
The key speaker is Ksenia Shymanska, the director of the Human Rights Department of the Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.
At the meeting, you will see the first videos against cyberbullying in Ukraine and talk to their protagonists. We invite educators (teachers, school psychologists), as well as mothers and fathers for whom their children’s safety and health is important, to participate in the event.
