The COVID-19 pandemic has become a challenge for the whole world. To stop it, Chinese authorities locked down Wuhan and restricted the movement of its inhabitants in January 2020. Directors Hao Wu, Weixi Chen, and Anonymous made the film 76 Days at the city's hospitals and told stories about people at the epicentre of the pandemic. This film is about humanity, respect, and resilience. It is full of love and warmth for people who remain humane in a situation of uncertainty and loss. The screening will be followed by a discussion about the challenges we face today: overcrowded hospitals and lack of medical staff, low public awareness, chaos in communication and responsibility of the state and each of us, manipulation and fake, segregation and social aggression, human rights in the context of public safety and many other issues.
