The 18th Travelling Docudays UA in Kirovohrad Region has opened!

08 October 2021

This year’s opening of the Travelling Docudays UA in Kirovohrad Region was special. The event wasn’t held in the regional capital, but in the village of Kompaniyivka, and its guest was Maia Martiniak, the director of Unseen, and Ksenia Shymanska, Head of the Docudays UA Human Rights Department.

Documentary fans gathered in the hall of the Haven Cafe in Kompaniyivka. The audience included teachers, doctors, journalists, local government representatives, librarians, students, activists, retirees. There were many familiar faces in the audience.

The film Unseen did not leave anyone indifferent. And the discussion with the filmmaker after the screening revealed the film’s behind-the-scenes process.

Many screenings, films, discussions, meetings lie ahead. And we really want to pass the positive energy charge we received during the festival opening to our audience.
