Every so often, we encounter the question: Does all of this really matter? Luckily, we belong to a team where there’s no need for debate because we collectively sense that our efforts on the human rights festival, screenings, discussions, training, workshops, and even concerts create essential spaces for genuine connections, support, dialogue, and future planning. Together, we shape our shared vision of the future in our hometowns, cities, and villages.

We’ve been watching you with lots of love and admiration during the 20th Docudays UA screenings. You’ve dived into global processes and the situation in Ukraine, asking questions and exploring with us. We feel incredibly lucky to take part in shaping a generation that values critical thinking – conscious, effective, and simply the best. Over these twenty years, we’ve grown into one big Docudays UA family, providing powerful support for each other. Your support is the best gift you could give our team. 

In return, we’re leaving eleven films from the festival program under your Christmas trees, so you can enjoy them for free worldwide until the end of 2024. Here’s to us remaining strong in the years to come, knowing that we’ll win against all odds and find happiness in a free Ukraine!
