The virtual world, just like the world beyond the screens, poses a number of risks to children. One of the most dangerous ones is cyberbullying. Cyberbullying means abuse, humiliation, aggressive attacks carried out using various gadgets (particularly phones), using the internet or any other electronic (digital) technology.

Aggression and abuse transform and gain new features in the digital environment. Comments about appearance, insulting stickers, threats and discussions of private life online – according to UNICEF, about 50% of teenagers in Ukraine have been victims of cyberbullying, and one in three children have skipped school because of it.

The Teenagers vs. Cyberbullying competition aims to draw attention to the large-scale problem of online bullying, to make the problem of discrimination, intolerance and bullying of children visible.

The exhibition will be the result of a photography competition among teenagers and will be presented on Zoom. You will also be able to view the participants’ works on the page of the Travelling Docudays UA in Zakarpattia.
