Presentation of the comic book “Walls”.

The comics tells the story of three iconic sites in the Kherson region: the “stone embroideries” of Nova Kakhovka, the Tyagyn Fortress, and the home of artist Polina Raiko in Oleshky. These are stories about people and communities who explore, preserve, and reinterpret cultural heritage even in the midst of war.

We will continue the conversation about the role of communities in preserving cultural heritage during a human rights discussion dedicated to participatory democracy.
