Tetiana Symon
Tetiana Symon is a Ukrainian director, acting coach, casting director and assistant director. She graduated from the Karpenko-Karyi National University of Theatre, Film and Television in Kyiv with a degree in Feature Film Directing. In 2015, Tetiana made her short debut, Junk. After this, she started as a casting director and acting coach, working with professional and non-professional actors on feature films. She has collaborated with leading Ukrainian directors such as Valentyn Vasianovych, Roman Bondarchuk, Iryna Tsilyk, Maryna Er Horbach, and Maksym Nakonechnyi. Tetiana specialises in working with non-professional actors in feature films. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Tetiana has been actively working on documentary projects. She is the head of witness interviews for the Ukraine War Archive project, an initiative by the Docudays UA team. Since its founding, the team has collected over 900 interviews with people who have survived occupation, who have worked on evacuation or organised volunteer hubs.Filmography
