Jasmijn Schrofer (1992) has a love for documentary film and dance. If her films were to be described she would say ‘desire’ or ‘visual poetry’. Her graduation film Tarikat is the product of this coalition. It has been recognised with four awards: the Cinedans Festival Jury Award 2016, the KNF-prize from the Dutch Film Critics, the VPRO documentary prize and the Wildcard prize.
